Install your AvaValley indoors on a strong, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Select a location away from heat and moisture-generating equipment. The unit should be plugged into an outlet of the appropriate voltage. Be sure to check the manual to see if your product requires its own dedicated outlet and to determine appropriate clearance. Do not use extension cords.
Uneven surfaces may cause poor performance or excessive noise. AvaValley products are not tested for use outdoors. Malfunction due to high ambient temperatures, humidity, or an improperly maintained condenser coil will void the product warranty.
No, all refrigerators should be shipped in an upright position. During delivery, the equipment may be tilted on its side to pass through doorways, if needed. If the unit is tilted during delivery, allow it to sit for 24 hours prior to plugging in. This will allow the refrigerant to settle.

Wine refrigerator temperature controllers are designed to lock after 10 seconds of inactivity. To unlock the controller, hold the unlock buttons for 5 seconds until you hear an audible beep, or unplug the unit and plug it back into the outlet. Instructions for changing the temperature can be found within your product manual.
A number of factors can contribute to fogging and condensation within your AvaValley product. Reference the FAQ above regarding how to choose the best install area. When choosing the best location for your equipment, it’s important to consider humidity in addition to accounting for ambient temperatures and ventilation. The proper humidity level for your space should be 45-50% as measured by a hygrometer. Frequent opening and shutting of equipment doors or a clog in the evaporator drain pan can also contribute to condensation.
WRC Series Wine Refrigerators and BRC series beverage refrigerators AvaValley warrants to the original purchaser of new AvaValley units that such equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of delivery. Model W4GD15 carries a 1 year labor warranty coordinated through Ready Kitchen valid in the contiguous United States. In addition, AvaValley warrants the compressor on model W4GD15 to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 years from the date of delivery. Model W4GD15 includes a 5 year warranty on the compressor part only. Should your compressor fail within this period, obtain a diagnosis by a licensed technician and submit a claim through Ready Kitchen Warranty to arrange shipment of a new compressor part. For units outside of the AvaValley parts and labor warranty period, customers are responsible for covering service fees associated with diagnosis and installation of the new compressor.
